SLTF CAMPAIGN PROJECT 2016/2017
I was working in the Students’ Union in partnership with the university’s Learning and Teaching Development Unit (LTDU) and I am leading the Student Led Teaching Fellowship (SLTF) project.
SLTF is an excellent opportunity for students to recognise and reward excellent teaching practice. Students are asked to nominate teaching staff highlighting best practice examples. Through students sharing these examples of best practice we are able to work together to further enhance teaching throughout Cardiff Met.
I have been working on graphic design work for the project, marketing and promoting through social media as well as working on promotional videos.
This position gave me an opportunity to lead a project which I turned out to be more successful than the previous year, with double the nomination numbers. I have also worked in FabLab Cardiff, laser engraving 200 personalised glasses for the nominees – giving me an opportunity to further my skills in FabLab.
